PeakHours ("we", "us") provides a paid TikTok content audit service at peakhours.app, operated as an individual business based in Romania. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.
1. What we collect
- Public TikTok data: the handle you submit and up to 30 of that account's public videos, captions, hashtags, and visible performance metrics (views, likes, comments, shares). We do not access private account data and never ask for your TikTok password.
- Contact details: the email address you provide at checkout or on the free checklist form, used to deliver your audit or the checklist and to respond to support requests.
- Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive or store your card number — Stripe shares only the transaction status, amount, and the email/handle you submitted at checkout.
- Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging.
2. How we use it
- To generate and deliver the audit report you purchased.
- To deliver the free checklist if you request it.
- To respond to support or refund requests.
- To improve the audit methodology (using aggregated, de-identified patterns — not your individual report content shared with third parties).
3. Who we share it with
We use the following processors to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Formspree (or equivalent) — handling the free checklist signup form.
We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share your TikTok handle or audit results with anyone outside of operating this service.
4. Data retention
We keep your email and order details for as long as needed to deliver the service, handle support/refund requests, and comply with applicable accounting/tax obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 6.
5. Your rights (EU/EEA visitors)
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right under GDPR to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
6. Contact
For any privacy question or request, email peakhourscontact@gmail.com.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
